June & July Highlights

June and July saw increased retail expansion for our iAudioize product. Not only are we in 140 Apple retail stores, we were also picked up by 5 more US retailers -

We are delighted with this further retail exposure, and we hope to make more big wins soon.

In June, David Brennan, our senior software architect, managed to escape the office for a while and get a well deserved trip to San Francisco and to Apple's World wide developers conference (WWDC).

Here Dave met like minded developers and had a hands on coding session with an Apple Labs programmer who gave him valuable hints and tips to enhance our iNewsCaster product which saw it's official release in mid June. Unfortunately whilst in the US, Dave was too early to get his hands on an iPhone, but this long awaited launch eventually did happen amid much buzz, excitement and hype. Already touted the technical product of the century (even though we are only 7 years into it!!). So what does iPhone's launch mean to MagneticTime? Well, today, both our Applications - iAudioize & iNewsCaster - work with iPhone, though neither can reside on the iPhone due to Apple's policy of no third party applications. Hopefully this policy will change soon, and if so, we'll be all over it! However, don't worry if you are one of the lucky ones with a new shiny iPhone, our Audio files work just like your music files, and will synch with iPhone through iTunes in the normal way.

This month was also busy for Shane Mc Allister, MagneticTime's Executive VP has he appeared on numerous radio and tech talk shows to discuss iAudioize and iNewsCaster. Highlights of which are linked below -
