We kept busy creating awareness of the product, getting PR, answering questions and sending our spies to Apple stores to see the product "in the wild". MT1 is now iAudioize MT-Personal NewsCaster is now iNewsCaster and details throughout the site have subsequently changed too.
February & March Highlights (Blog) February was quiet on the PR and Marketing activity side, we were all too busy with our heads down preparing for March. Why March? Well, March saw the release of not only of our long awaited Apple Mac version of MT1, but a total product revamp, new packaging, new product names, a new e-Store and purchase mechanism, and above all, a roll-out to over 140 Apple Retail stores! No mean feat! MT1, has now been renamed iAudioize and is available in both MAC & PC versions

Currently available as PC only, we're busy with the Mac version also. As of March 27th, iAudioize is available in over 140 Apple Retail Stores. This is a superb coup for us and we're thrilled. Thanks to all the folks at Apple who helped us, especially Mary Beth, Mark and Wayne. This will be the start of great things on the retail side for MagneticTime and should help overcome the barriers that other retailers put up. We are offering a free, not available in the shops, exclusive, once off, highly coveted, priceless (okay, enough!) MagneticTime T-Shirt to the first person in each of the 140 Apple stores to send us a picture of themselves with iAudioize preferably paying at the check-out (so purchased, not stolen!) in the Apple Store. We are offering this to the first purchaser in each store, and all they have to do, is to email info@magnetictime.com with their picture and name and address. It's that simple...so get out and get purchasing! Do you Twitter? Twitter (www.twitter.com) is spreading like wildfire. Twitter asks the question "What are you doing now?" and you can respond via Internet, IM or SMS. So in essence, Micro Blogging with the ability to create networks of friends. But what happens when you have too many friends (a nice complaint!)? How to you read all their "tweets" (as the uploaded text is called)? We'll, using the in-built RSS functionality of iNewsCaster, you no longer have to read them, you can listen instead. We're delighted to announce that MagneticTime's MT-Personal Newscaster has shortlisted under the emerging technology section of the Digital Media awards in Ireland. January Highlights (Blog) Wow - January went quickly, especially as the first part of the month was spent at CES & Macworld!
CES was huge - our first time there. Met with may potential partners and customers. Still chasing down the leads, so still to early to tell. Saw some great technology, and was amazed at the sheer scale of the stands, especially from the the major consumer electronic brands. Las Vegas, was Las Vega - what can you say - a little colder in January, but still a surreal place - a DisneyLand for Adults!
First time at MacWorld too. After CES, it would be easy to be complacent, as the show is much smaller, but as a standalone show it was very good. Some very innovative stands, and amazing to see the extent of the "iPod Economy" - entire companies, leveraging the success of the iPod to create and maintain a business - incredible! Back in the office, development continued apace - we continued development work on our Mac version of MT1, and in conjunction with that, we had to update the PC version and work on new packaging required by the retailers. So the start of 2007 has been a busy one, and we intend to keep it that way... For all you Mac users... MT1 now in Micro Center US... December Highlights (Blog) Another busy month in MagneticTime, not least because it's a short one due to the Holidays. Our new website launched in November has been getting great feedback and we are delighted with it. In development we are working on 2 key projects - our Mac version of MT1 and new features and addtions to MT-Personal Newscaster. With both CES and MacWorld imminent in January, things are fairly hectic in the office... And in case you hadn't noticed, we are now selling an MT Bundle at a special price.
